ABOUT BULLFEATHERS!
My name is Brad Fuller and as the artist and puzzlemaster for Bullfeathers! PRODUCTIONS™ I have two creative passions in my life — creating interactive puzzles and mysteries; painting colorful pet portraits and other art.
It’s all fun and games!
I have always been obsessed with mysteries, and I adore complex games and puzzles. But even more than solving puzzles, I love creating them. Many companies have asked me to create custom “gamified” experiences for training and team development. Restaurants and clubs have used my mysteries as special event business opportunities. Nothing makes me happier than to see people laughing and having a good time while they wrestle to solve one of my mysteries. Every unique event is a combination of brain-challenging puzzling and hilarious humor. Everyone always has a great time!
There’s an art to it!
When it comes to my art, I am constantly inspired by the skills of great comic book creators, tattoo artisans and other types of pop artists. One additional inspiration is rooted in my childhood. I remember sitting at the feet of my grandmother as she hand-sewed the most amazing quilts with creative combinations of detailed patterns and beautiful colors. My graphic pet portraits and other paintings combine these influences into highly detailed images. They also contain hidden meaningful messages and symbols, a nod to my love for puzzles.
What connects these two passions?
Mysteries and games may seem to have little to do with art and portraits. But my work in these areas has several commonalities. They rely on stories. They contain surprises. They are intended to create a sense of fun.
